How do credits work?

Credits are a virtual currency used when you run AI sessions on NewEyes. When you create an account, you receive a complimentary allocation of Starter Credits. Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable. Once your credits are exhausted, you can earn more through our Community Feedback Program on Discord.

How do I earn more credits?

Join our official Discord server and participate in the Community Feedback Program. Share product feedback, bug reports, or feature suggestions — we may grant additional credits at our discretion. Credit grants are not guaranteed for every submission.

Does NewEyes store my photos?

Camera frames captured during a session are transmitted to our servers for AI processing. If you do not save a session, temporary server caches are purged within 72 hours. If you save a session, your Visual Inputs and outputs are stored in your session history until you delete them or your account. We never scan or index your entire photo library — we only process photos you explicitly select. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Is my camera always on?

No. Camera access is used exclusively during active, in-app use — only when you navigate to the camera screen. We do not access your camera or microphone in the background when the app is not in the foreground, and we do not continuously record or stream video from your device.

Will my data be used to train AI models?

Only if you explicitly opt in. AI training is opt-in, not opt-out. The default setting is off — your data will not be used for training unless you navigate to Settings → Privacy → Data Usage and enable "Help Improve NewEyes AI." You can withdraw consent at any time and the change takes effect immediately.

How do I delete my account and data?

You can delete your account at any time:

  • In-App: Settings → Account → Delete Account
  • Email: Send a request to cs@collov.com with your registered email address.
Upon a valid deletion request, we will deactivate your account within 48 hours and permanently delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Deletion is irreversible.

What AI models does NewEyes use?

NewEyes uses a combination of proprietary and third-party AI models, which may include models from OpenAI (GPT family), Google (Gemini family), Anthropic (Claude family), and other providers. Before your data is shared with any third-party AI provider for the first time, the app will ask for your explicit consent. You can manage these settings at Settings → Privacy → Third-Party AI Data.

What should I do if a session fails or credits are incorrectly deducted?

Contact us at cs@collov.com within 30 days of the issue with a description of what happened (including approximate date/time and what feature you were using). We will investigate and, at our sole discretion, may issue a credit restoration for verified technical errors.

Is NewEyes available on Android and iOS?

NewEyes is available as a mobile application. Check the App Store or Google Play for the latest availability information. Some features may vary by platform.


Report a Problem

Report Abusive or Harmful Content

If you encounter content that violates our Terms of Service — including prohibited content, harassment, or illegal material — please report it immediately at cs@collov.com with as much detail as possible (session ID, description, screenshots if applicable).

For reports involving child safety, we take immediate action and report to the relevant authorities including NCMEC.

Report a Security Vulnerability

If you discover a security vulnerability in the NewEyes app or infrastructure, please disclose it responsibly by emailing cs@collov.com with the subject line "Security Vulnerability Report." Please do not publicly disclose the vulnerability before we have had a chance to investigate and address it.

Submit a DMCA / Copyright Complaint

If you believe content on our platform infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA notification to cs@collov.com. Include: your contact information, identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the infringing material, and a statement of good faith belief.
